Locally grown food is fresher, healthier, and tastes better. Located in Forest City, NC, we're proud to serve our surrounding community with the freshest seasonal produce and eggs. Not only that, our dedication to safe and sustainable practices means our food is good for both the people and environment in Rutherford County.
We are a small family farm focusing on seasonal favorites with some unique and uncommon fruits and veggies thrown in the mix.

It All Starts With A Seed
The veggies we grow come from open pollinated, organic, and or heirloom seeds from companies we trust like Seed Savers, High Mowing, and Bountiful Gardens.
How We Get Things Growing
All of our fertility comes from the use of cover crops, compost , and creating the right conditions for earthworms to thrive and help us enrich our gardens. We are creating healthy soils rich with organic matter and full of life so that our plants can grow their best.
How We Keep Things Growing
When it comes to pests we believe the best course of action is creating and maintaining the right habitat for beneficial insects to live in our gardens and help us control pests naturally. We love to see more and more beneficials like ladybugs, lacewings, and predatory wasps doing what they do best.
Getting It To You Fresh
All of the packaging we use to bring you fresh fruits and veggies is always 100% recycled and/or made from biodegradable materials. We'll gladly accept your returned clean packaging that can be used again to help cut down on unnecessary wastes.

Happy Hens
Our hens are raised outside in the sunshine and fresh air, spending their days happily foraging, scratching around, dust-bathing, and expressing their inner chicken. The girls are moved regularly to new pasture keeping them healthy and providing access to plenty of fresh greens.
Good Eats
We feel that the best quality eggs depend on the best quality food. Our hens have full access to fresh pasture, 100% organic feed, and a regular dose of fresh fruits & veggies from around the farm.
